NAME: Alè de Syrah 2018

SOURCE: IGP Vi de la Terra de Mallorca.

TYPE OF WINE: Still red wine aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months.

GRAPE: Syrah 100%

HARVEST: 2018 the summer was dry and mild, perfect for the phytosanitary conditions of the grape. The Syrah was harvested the second week of September.

GRADUATION: 13.5% vol.

PROCESS: The grapes were selected and harvested by hand in vineyards close to the property. Traditional methods were used in accordance with Demeter legislation with no added yeast or bacteria and only spontaneous fermentation. Fermentation at controlled temperature was done in stainless steel tanks and aging in French oak barrels for 12 months.

CATA'S NOTES:

Nose: clearly representative of the variety, the aromas of licorice emerge and also a soft touch of spices. Later, a smoky and toasted aroma caused by its aging in barrels.

Mouth: The palate confirms the perfect balance of the wine, with concentrated aromas of violet and ripe blackberries, cloves and cinnamon, aided by an integrated structure of tannins and a balanced acidity. The perfect integration of the barrel is confirmed.
